Festive parade for Belgian medal winners
Belgium enjoyed a great summer of sports with plenty of medal winning athletes and paralympic athletes at the European and world championships. The AG Memorial Van Damme has invited all of them to Friday’s event. No less than 24 medal winners from seven disciplines will join a festive parade during the opening ceremony of the 42nd AG Memorial Van Damme in the King Baudouin Stadium.

On Wednesday the European pole vault champion will not be present at an exhibition competition at the Zurich Main Train Station, but the Swedish wonderkid has confirmed he will come to Brussels for the season finale.

Kevin Borlée: ‘I’ll give everything I have left'
For almost a decade the Borlee brothers have been entertaining the crowds at the AG Insurance Memorial Van Damme. That will be the case again this year, although unfortunately Jonathan had to cancel his appearance due to physical issues. Together with junior world champion Jonathan Saccoor Kevin and Dylan Borlee will provide one of the night’s many highlights.
