Jackie Joyner-Kersee enters Hall of Fame
The most versatile all round athlete of all times enters the Hall of Fame of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, and well deserved so. Jackie Joyner-Kersee twice won the Long Jump in Brussels, but most of all she is the double Olympic Heptathlon Champion and holds the World Record in the challenging event since 34 years with breathtaking 7291 points.

Men’s Pole Vault field takes further shape
Some important names have been added to the field in the Men’s Pole Vault at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. World Record holder Mondo Duplantis and local hero Ben Broeders will be joined by former World Record holder Renaud Lavillenie and by vice World Champion Chris Nilsen on Sep., 2nd in the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.

The 46th Allianz Memorial Van Damme is adding a few athletes to its line up. American sprint sensation Erriyon Knighton and Unkrainian World High Jump Champion officially confirmed their participation. The annual “Urban Memorial” also has a location.

Allianz Memorial Van Damme in 2024 and 2026 Diamond League final
The Wanda Diamond League has set the finals for the next five years. Two of them are assigned to the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. In 2024 and 2026, the two-day final of the 'Champions League of athletics' will therefore take place in Brussels.
