Golden Obiri and Perkovic now on quest for diamond …
The Women’s 5000m and the Women’s Discus Throw saw the Diamond Race leaders emerge as World Champions in London. Hellen Obiri and Sandra Perkovic will compete in Brussels to win the Final of the Diamond League competition.

World Champions Thiam and Lasitskene to battle at Memorial
World High Jump Champion Maria Lasitskene will compete in her event against World Heptahlon Champion Nafi Thiam.

Sprint Queen Schippers and Long Jump Top 5 Women at Memorial!
Dafne Schippers successfully defended her 200m World title in London. The Dutch queen of sprint will be one of the headlining athletes at the AG Memorial Van Damme. The Top 5 finishers of the Women’s Long Jump will also present at the Diamond League Final of their event.

Taylor dominates Diamond League and WC !
Christian Taylor won his third World Championships title in the Triple Jump on Thursday. The American will be one of the global stars of international athletics to compete at the AG Memorial Van Damme !

Felix equals Bolt and Ottey
Allyson Felix won the bronze medal at the World Championships in London. The American now joins Jamaicans Usain Bolt and Merlene Ottey as the most be-medalled competitors at the WC, with a tally of 14 medals. And there are still 2 relay events to come in London. Felix will also be present at the AG Memorial Van Damme on Sep. 1st.

World Championships Top 3 in 3000m steeplechase on show in Brussels
Conseslus Kipruto won the 3000m steeplechase at the WC in london. The 22 year old Kenyan was still uncertain to compete due to an ankle injury, but he did win in 8’14”12. Moroccon Soufiane El Bakkali came in second in 8’14”49. Evan Jager from the USA who holds the World Leading performance with 8’01”29 had to settle for bronze in 8’15”53. The top 3 of this strong event will be on show in Brussels at the AG Memorial Van Damme.

World Champion Faith Kipyegon at Memorial
Faith Kipyegon won the 1500m at the World championships in Athletics in London. The 23 year old Kenyan can be admired on Sep. 1st at the AG Memorial Van Damme.

Thiam wins first ever World Championships gold for Belgium!
Never before in the World Championship’s history since 1983 a Belgian athlete won a gold medal. And then came Nafi Thiam in London. On Sep. 1st the World and Olympic Heptathlon Champion will compete at the AG Memorial Van Damme in her favourite event, the High jump.
