Lyles super fast in Shanghai, Samba beats Benjamin in clash of the titans
American Noah Lyles won the 100m dash at the Diamond League Meeting in Shanghai in a personal best of 9.86 which is also a World Leading perofrmance. His compatriot Christian Coleman was given the same time. In the 400m Hurdles Abderrahman Samba from Qatar was the best in his eagerly awaited duel with American Rai Benjamin in 47.27, which is also a World Leading Performance.

Belgian Tornadoes take bronze at World Relays
The Belgian Tornadoes took the bronze medal this Sunday at the World Relays in Yokohama (JPN) in the 4 x 400m. The Belgian Cheetahs and the Mixed Team also made a strong impression and qualified for the World Championships.

New Diamond League Record for Daniel Stahl
The Road to the Final has taken off with the Diamond League in Doha. In Qatar 10 events were on the meeting program of which the Final will be held in Brussels.

Road to the Final starts next Friday in Doha
Next Friday May, 3rd the 10th season of the IAAF Diamond League kicks off in Doha. In Qatar the athletes can earn points on their road to the IAAF Diamond League Final in Brussels on September, 6th.

We will present six rising Belgian track and field stars on their possible road to Doha during the upcoming weeks. Jonathan Sacoor is our fourth Rising Star. The U20 400m world champion is considered to be one of the biggest talents ever in Belgium. Can he repeat last year’s craziness in 2019?
