The 25-year old Jamaican and double Olympic Champion in the 100m and 200m was faster than Marie-Josee Ta Lou (CIV) in 10\u201d96 and Nigerian Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor (11\u201d09). Her biggest rival Dafne Schippers did not compete in Paris.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thompson didn\u2019t improve on her World Best Performance (10\u201d71) but she still proved to be ready for the World Championships in London (4-13 August). In London Thompson will only compete in the 100m.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thompson will most probably also be present in Brussels at the AG Memorial Van Damme. She is now second in the intermediate Diamond League standings behind Ta Lou. The best 8 qualifiers are invited to the Diamond League Final in either Z\u00fcrich or Brussels. The 100m Women final will take place in Brussels.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sifan Hassan won the Women\u2019s 1500m in 3\u201957\u201d10. The Dutchwoman also leads the provisional standings. Novlene Williams-Mills (JAM) was victorious in the Women\u2019s 400m in 51\u201d03 and leads in the Diamond League ahead of Natasha Hastings who didn\u2019t compete in Paris.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ramil Guliyev (TUR) surprisingly won the Men\u2019s 200m (20\u201d15) ahead of Martina (20\u201d27), Dwyer (20\u201d45) and Webb (20\u201d48), who leads in the Diamond League.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nijel Amos from Botswana won the 800m (1\u201944\u201d24), while Jamaican Ronald Levy set a PB to win the 110m Hurdles (13\u201d05). Kenyan Kipyegon Bett finished second in the 800m and has secured his place in the Diamond League Final.
