Twin brothers K\u00e9vin and Jonathan Borl\u00e9e weren\u2019t quite successful in the 400m. K\u00e9vin (45\u201d53) was a hundredth of a second slower than his seasonal best, while Jonathan clocked 46\u201d18. None of both has already reached the qualifying mark for the World Championships in London (45\u201d33). Baboloki Thebe from Botswana won the 400m in 44\u201d95.<\/p>\n

Anne Zagr\u00e9 came in 6th in the 100m Hurdles in 12\u201d98, behind the German Dutkiewicz who won the event in 12\u201d73. Zagr\u00e9 has already earned her qualification for the World Championships.<\/p><\/div>\n

Caster Semenya (RSA) won the 800m in 1\u201957\u201d59 with Belgian Ren\u00e9e Eykens finishing in 11th place in 2\u201903\u201d23.<\/div>\n

Philip Milanov had an effort of 66.39m which is a seasonal best. He finished in 3rd behind Daniel Stahl (SWE) and Fedrick Dacres (JAM). Milanov and Stahl now lead the Diamond Race in the Discus Throw with 14 points each.<\/div>\n

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR SCHIPPERS <\/b><\/div>\n
Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers celebrated her 25th Birthday with a victory. Schippers had a false start in the race but was allowed a second attempt after protesting. Schippers ran 22\u201d31, ahead of Murielle Ahour\u00e9 (CIV) and Simonne Facey (JAM). \u201cThere was a lot of noise and rumour at the start, so I couldn\u2019t concentrate myself\u201d, explained Schippers on her false start.<\/div>\n

Andre De Grasse (CAN) won the Men\u2019s 100m in 10\u201d01 to beat Ujah (GBR) and Meit\u00e9 (CIV). \u201cThis was my fastest race this year, I hope to improve further and to run below 10 seconds soon\u201d, said De Grasse.<\/div>\n

Temperatures were cool in Norway and that affected the performances. One World Best Performance was set in the Men\u2019s High Jump. Mutaz Essa Barshim from Qatar crossed the bar at 2.38m.<\/div>\n

BARTOLETTA AND PERKOVIC ON THE ROAD TO BRUSSELS<\/b><\/div>\n

Tianna Bartoletta (USA) won the Women\u2019s Long Jump with 6.79m ahead of Darya Klishina, the Russian who is allowed to compete as an independent athlete (ANA) and Claudia Rath (GER). Yarisley Silva from Cuba was the highest Pole Vaulter (4.81m). She pushed Sidorova (ANA) and Ryzih (GER) back to 2nd and 3rd. Sandra Perkovic (CRO) won the Discus Throw (66.79m), while Cubans Perez and Caballero occupied the next spots.<\/div>\n

Bartoletta, Silva and Perkovic now lead the Diamond Race in their events on the Road to Brussels. After 12 Diamond Races the 8 best athletes qualify for the big Diamond League Finals in Z\u00fcrich and in Brussels.<\/div>\n
