Brilliant performances have been achieved and the 10k world record was broken three times in <strong>Brussels<\/strong> broken: the Moroccan <strong>Salah Hissou<\/strong> in 1996, the Kenyan <strong>Paul Tergat<\/strong> in 1997, and the Ethiopian <strong>Kenenisa Bekele<\/strong> in 2005.
