A few hourse before their national and international idols go all out in the final of the <strong><span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"><\/span>Samsung Diamond League<\/strong> the stars of tomorrow will have the opportunity to perform in<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>the <strong>the King Baudouin Stadium<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Like last year, the Belgacom Youth Memorial Van Damme Youth is organised for school children, boys and girls (born 1994-1995).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">In the preliminary program from + \/ &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">5.30pm<\/span><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> onwards (a more detailed schedule will be announced later) a competition will be provided for the following disciplines:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Girls : 100m \u2013 400m \u2013 1000m* \u2013 4x100m<br \/>Boys : 100m \u2013 1000m* \u2013 High Jump &#8211; 4x100m<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-style: normal; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">* Selection is based on performances at 800m and 1500m after conversion in IAAF scoring tables of Athletics<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong>Number of athletes retained: <\/strong><br \/>High 6 athletes<br \/><span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"><\/span>&#8211; 400m 8 athletes<br \/>4x100m 8 teams<br \/>1000m 16 athletes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">On Monday, 5 September, <strong>the Royal Belgian Athletics Federation<\/strong> will produce a selection of athletes on the basis of their results until 4 September.
