Crowds welcome again at 45rd Allianz Memorial Van Damme
“Ticket sales for the 45th Allianz Memorial Van Damme is going well”,says meeting director Cédric Van Branteghem. “Last year audiences were not allowed, due to the pandemic, but this year we are happy to please the crowds again. But of course, measures will remain in place. The upper stands remain closed, which reduces the capacity of the stadium to 30.000 spectators. Also, every visitor will need to possess a Covid Safe Ticket.”

Fastest man in the world this year at Allianz Memorial Van Damme
Americans Trayvon Bromell and Fred Kerley will be the athletes to look out for in the Men’s 100m at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, on Friday Sep.,3rd in the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. It will be his first outing in Brussels ! Bronze medal winner Alison Dos Santos and four other finalists from Tokyo will also be heading for Brussels.

Asher-Smith, Obiri and James join top field at Allianz Memorial Van Damme
Reigning World 200m champion Dina Asher-Smith upgrades the strong line up for the 200m at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. The Briton will be in the battle with Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah. In the Women’s 5000m vice Olympic Champion Helen Obiri will start as the favourite in the event. Kirani James – who own Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals – heads the field in the Men’s 400m.
