Kevin and Dylan Borlee aiming for world championships, Jonathan pulls out

We didn’t get to see Jonathan Borlee at the press conference ahead of the 2019 AG Memorial Van Damme. Borlee’s season is over after the Belgian got injured. His brothers Kevin and Dylan are upholding the family’s honours. The two brothers want to shine on Friday and qualify for the Doha world championships.

“I still think I can beat the 45:30 limit if I run the perfect race,” Dylan Borlee said. “But it’s a strange season with the world championships being so late, I have to admit. You don’t see many Europeans high on the list of times on the 400 metres either."

His older brother Kevin has the same ambition. “I still feel like I’m in good shape and I expect to reach my maximum level in Doha. Of course, first I should beat the limit for the world championships on Friday.
