On Friday Sep. 9th the spectators will not only have the occasion to watch Gold medalist Nafissatou Thiam compete in the High Jump and to celebrate the Women 4 x 100m team that receives the 2008 Olympic gold medal after the Russian team has been officially been disqualified. They can also cheer all those other sportsmen and women – the hockey team, the gymnasts, the cyclists, the swimmers, the taekwonda’s and others – who offered their fans so many great sporting moments in Rio.
Four years ago Team Belgium entered the stadium on bicyles, this year the parade will have a different but surprising touch. Take your chance to watch and to cheer Team Belgium with their medal winners.
