In the high jump at the Belgacom Memorial Van Damme, Tia faces tough competition. Among the competitors are the gold and bronze medals from London.
The Memorial is the only meeting left for Tia to reach the personal goal she had set out for this year: cap 2 meters. On 7 September,she will be surrounded by serious enough competitors so as to be sure about reaching a high level herself. In addition to Tia, Anna Chicherova, Svetlana Shkolina (gold and bronze in London respectively) and Chaunte Howard-Lowe are the main contenders in the high jump in Brussels.
