Mondo Duplantis is always an athlete to look forward to. Especiallly after he proved his excellent form in becoming the World Champion again and reaching out to the World record. All medal winners will be on the runway at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, all-in all 6 finalists will be competing.

A clean sheet up to 6,10m, that is what Mondo Duplantis produced to become the World Champion again. The Pole Vaulter from Sweden will surely want to be one of the main contenders in Brussels and to rectify his offday from last year. Duplantis in good shape is capable of breaking his own meeting record of 6,05m. In excellent shape he loves to raise the bar at World Record height …

In the slipstream of Duplantis 5 more World Championship’s finalists will be on the runway in Brussels. They will be led by Ernest John Obiena, the silver medalist and surprise winner in Brussels in 2022. Obiena set an Asian Area record in Budapest (6,00m). Australian bronze medal winner Kurtis Marschall completes the trio of medal winners.

Local hero Ben Broeders was happy with 7th placing in Budapest (5,75m). He will be joined by other top 8 finishers Zach McWhorter from the USA and Thibaut Collet from France.
