Entry of Sacoor crowns successful 2018

400m World Junior Champion Jonathan Sacoor will end his successful season in Brussels. So the entire 4 x 400m European Championships Gold Medal Team from Belgium will compete in the 400m.

“I really wanted to compete in the “Memorial”, more than anything else.”, said Sacoor at the press conference today. Sacoor won bronze with the Belgian Tornadoes at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham. In July he became the World Junior Champion in Tampere (FIN) in 45,03, the second best performance ever by a European junior.

And last but not least Sacoor was a member of the Gold Medal Team that won the European 4 x 400m title for Belgium in Berlin. His final appearance this year will be in the king Baudouin stadium, the day before his 19th birthday.
