Both courses crossed the beautiful parks on the Heysel platform. Dependent on their choice for the 5 or 10 Miles they will run alongside the Atomium, the Brussels Expo, the Planetarium and the Royal Castle in Laeken with start and finish in the King Baudouin Stadium.
The largest part of the 2000 participants preferred to run the 10 Miles and some of them even ran both the 5 and the 10 Miles. No less than 240 employees of AG Insurance took part in the event.
The AG Brussels 10 Miles were entirely linked to the AG Memorial Van Damme. The smurfs – the AG Memorial mascot – were also present ! Every participant received a nice personalized AG Memorial Van Damme bib.
AG Insurance launched the ‘AG 10 Miles Series’ that aims to promote a vision on active living and to stimulate as many people as possible to start moving. AG Insurance owns establishments in three major Belgian cities: Brussels, Antwerp and Charleroi. In each of these cities enthusiasts can run this iconic distance.
