The 10.000m is the most emblematic event of the AG Memorial Van Damme. On top of that this Brussels 10K is the ideal preparation for road running events that are to come in the next weeks and months, culminating in the famous 20K of Brussels one month later.
There is also a 5K on the program. Both courses cross the beautiful parks on the Heysel platform, unknowm to many but surprisingly green and quiet !
AG URBAN MEMORIAL VAN DAMME
High performance athletics in the heart of the city, at a major square or on another public location. The first edition of the AG Urban Memorial Van Damme last year was a big success. This year the AG Urban Memorial Van Damme will again bring world class athletes and the best Belgian athletes close to their audiences.
Between early May and early September the AG Urban Memorial Van Damme will be haeding for the city centres of a number of major Belgian cities. Every city will host one of these events : sprint, high jump, long jump, discus throw and pole vault. Attendance is free ! The AG Urban Memorial Van Damme is a unique occasion to discover high performance athletics, thanks to our title partner Ag Insurance who supports this project fort he next two years.
