The Brussels 10K - Brussels

Do you want to taste how it feels to be on the start of a running event carrying the official AG Insurance Memorial Van Damme BIB ? Than get ready for the Brussels 10K on Sunday Apr. 24th . At the first edition of this event no less than 4500 participants showed up.

The AG Insurance Memorial Van Damme organizes a 10K because the 10000m on track has always been one of the outstanding events at the athletics meeting. 24 (!) out of the 50 all time best performances on the distance have been set in Brussels at the Memorial Van Damme.

To give it a try in the 10K is the ideal preparation for the traditional 20K of Brussels that will take place one month later. On Apr. 24th there is also a 5K on the program. Both courses offer a marvelous scenery of parks and greens on the site of the Heysel.

The courses start and end on the track of the King Baudouin Stadium. A unique opportunity to run in the footprints of Paul Tergat, Haile Gebreselassie and Kenenisa Bekele !
