Russian athletes impress during gala dinner

On Wednesday evening the traditional Gala Dinner of the Belgacom Memorial Van Damme was held in Tervuren. On the catwalk the Russian athletes were brilliant.

The guests were invited to a gastronomical dinner of chef Robrecht Wolters with a chocolate perfume of Leonidas, all accompanied by excellent wines from the house Schenk.

The fashion défilé saw a performance of the best Russian athletes. They showed creations of the Russian designer Valeria Sinushkina.

One of the guests at this dinner was Tia Hellebaut. The 2008 Olympic High Jump Champion gave a short speech about her retirement from the sports.
