Deputy Prime Minister Vanhengel extends collaboration with Rabat

The collaboration between the regions of Rabat and Brussels, launched at the time by Minister Guy Vanhengel, enters its final year. This cooperation also concerns sports, allowing the Memorial Van Damme to provide organisational support for the "Meeting Mohammed VI" in the Moroccan capital for the 5th year now already. The meeting in Rabat has already developed in such a way that it has become a contender to join the Diamond League. The 2012 edition will take place on Sunday 27 May. TV production is provided by a Belgian team under supervision of Jan Weynants. Seven Belgian athletes will participate in the meeting
